I hadn’t seen my Mum for 5 months so I wanted to organise something special to celebrate us being able to see each other and her birthday. I certainly wasn’t disappointed by the Ploughman’s Afternoon Tea from Love to Eat. The food was excellent and there was so much of it! It was excellent value for money. My mum and I ended up having it over two sittings there was so much. The selection of cheeses, ham and chutney was really great. The cakes and scones were very fresh and tasty. I really can’t say enough good things about how impressed both of us where by the Afternoon Tea. Fiona was so helpful and friendly in arranging everything. I will definitely be ordering a take away from here again and I can’t wait to visit in person when restrictions have been eased.
Went here just the other day. Beautiful place with amazing food. Service was amazing, and the people there were kind, caring, and very helpful. I've been here a couple of times and have always enjoyed being there. I definitely recommend it. Cakes are a joy, and many meals are amazing. Drinks are the same all delicious. Atmosphere was a nice calm and quiet. If you're looking for a quite calm place this is the place.

We stumbled upon this place on the way home from a holiday away. To be honest we needed a baby change and a little something snack. This place made us reconsider to yorkshire to be closer to it and I'm from Lancashire which tells you al you need to know about this place. Utterly fantastic and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. I wish I lived locally so I could come here as much as possible

A really lovely place to go for something to eat. The food was cooked wonderfully and was full of taste, both the savoury and the cake. And cream for you coffee! Makes it that extra bit good.
Lovely warm welcome and delicious afternoon tea. Fantastic sandwiches, homemade savouries, scones with clotted cream and cakes/traybakes. Served on beautiful vintage floral crockery. Great way to celebrate my Mum's birthday thank you will visit again. (need to pre-book)
Had a lovely breakfast everything was lovely and worth the price as well. Staff so friendly and makes you smile.
